Turmeric & Ginger Overnight Porridge

Serves 1 - Gluten free, Vegan


Ingredients

  • 50g gluten free rolled oats

  • 150ml non dairy milk or water

  • 1/4 tsp grated fresh turmeric or ground

  • 1/4 tsp grated fresh ginger or ground

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey

  • fresh berries, mixed seeds and nuts


The night before serving, stir the turmeric and ginger with the milk (or water) into the oats, together with chia seeds and maple syrup.

The next morning loosen with a little more liquid if needed. Top with your favourite fruits, seeds and nuts. Enjoy!
